Where to get help

  • Gambling Support BC is a provincial program that answers at 1-888-795-6111, 24/7, free and confidential. Its website is gamblingsupportbc.ca.
  • Game Break, the voluntary B.C. self-exclusion program, takes enrolments in person at any casino or bingo hall with government-issued photo ID. Terms run 6 months, 1 year, 2 years or 3 years, cannot be changed once chosen and cover PlayNow.com for the same period.
  • Treasure Cove Casino & Bingo, at 2003 Highway 97 South, has a GameSense Info Centre on site.
  • People affected by a loved one's gambling can call the same line, 1-888-795-6111, at any hour. The call is free and confidential.

Setting a limit before the visit

Set the money limit and the end time before leaving home, and write both down. Bring that amount in cash and leave bank and credit cards behind. A break every hour, away from the floor, gives a moment to check the plan against the clock. The casino is open 9 AM to 2 AM, so a fixed end time well before closing is easier to keep. Entry is for guests aged 19 or older.

The 16/97 field desk

The Field Sheet is written and signed collectively as the 16/97 field desk. The name comes from the two highways that meet at the casino. No page carries a personal byline, and the site has no named author.

Facts were checked on October 13, 2026. The sources were the casino's own pages, the attached hotel's page, BCLC and the Government of British Columbia. Each page shows that date. Distances are straight lines between map coordinates, measured from the casino's map point. Roads run longer than these lines.

Every hour is Prince George local time. Since March 8, 2026, Pacific time has been UTC-7 all year, because British Columbia stopped changing its clocks. The site has no forms, comments or accounts and keeps nothing about readers except the colour theme chosen in the browser tab.
